So it's hard to tell whether or not someone is just having a bad day or not. Which I get. But geez lady. It's been a long time since I've had such a poor experience in business establishment. Also to preface this I realize that the Purolator pick-up didn't cost me anything. But that doesn't mean our interaction shouldn't be reflective of the business. I was, and still am in a great mood. I got to pick up a parcel which usually puts me in high spirits. However the travel specialist inside gave me nothing but single word responses as I was trying to be friendly and conversational while signing. I get it. You've got better things to do. Fine by me. I'm getting my package. But then she was clearly upset that she felt obligated to help me carry the package. Because I am on crutches with a crushed foot. I never asked for help. I informed her that I wanted to check the parcel for obvious markings because it was a gift for the person driving me, and then they would come grab it. I head out the door, which is a little tricky for me, to let my friend know they could go in and grab the parcel. Once at my vehicle I realize that the staff member was behind me and brought out the package! I smile, thank her sincerely and momentarily confirm I got a bad read earlier. Only to get glared at, the package thrown in the vehicle, and a "Yup" in response as the door shuts. My friend asks "What happened?" I had no idea. Sorry to inconvenience you lady, but i'll never go to this establishment or recommend it to a friend for travel.
