The beds were clean and comfortable. The shower was amazing! The customer service was appalling and non-existent. The door in the bathroom had a hole and the windows on the far side of the building were all in the hallway. The worst part was the smell, it was a non-smoking room but you could tell there was smoke at one time. It was awful. You really get what you pay for.
I will give this motel less than a one star rating! I had a reservation for 2 rooms for the night of Oldstoberfest and at 1:15 pm the day of the event, Expedia called me to say the motel had called and cancelled our rooms. A plumbing problem from earlier in the week wasn't fixed. But they should have known at least the day before that it wouldn't be done! We were left on our own to find other accommodation - not easy in a small town with a big event on! Very poor customer service in our opinion. Not ever going to risk that again with this place.
Rooms were clean, price was nice as well. Good value for the money. Reception though was basically non existent. I had to leave my key upfront and leave it there after ringing the bell a few times. No one came up.
I knew full well what I was getting into with this hotel. I wasn't expecting any form of fancy and was honestly just looking for a cheap bed for a night. Unfortunately the smell of stale smoke in our room was just about unbearable. I read the other reviews and actually called ahead to make sure we we're in a non smoking room. However, despite the non smoking sign on the front door, our room wreaked of stale old cigarette smoke. The other negative was the customer service. Don't expect a friendly smile at the front door. Aside from this our room was clean and the shower was sweet. If the smell of smoke bothers you in any way then I would definitely recommend avoiding this motel.
Staff are friendly, the room was decent. Our sink was broken and the floor definitely could use a good washing. The bed was comfortable and clean. So that was a plus
